    5 years in the making, from Ireland to Appalachia and back, my debut album: Red Rockin' Chair! The album includes my arrangements of a few Irish songs, an awesome, ripping' old-time song called Red Rockin' Chair (from which the album gets its name), covers of Scythian's "Song of Sacrifice" and Tommy Sand's "There Were Roses," and a few of my original tunes and songs written with an Irish and/or Appalachian feel.

I learned this song through Gaelic Storm and Clancy Brothers recordings. It’s been one of my favorite songs to play for many years now, including many years of street busking where it was always great for grabbing pedestrians attention! We ended this song with The New Market Polka which Joe learned at sessions in Charlottesville, VA.
